He is carring a Walther P99 a semi-automatic pistol developed by the German company Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm for law enforcement.

I got a picture from Tyra Banks and crossed it with a US soldier and his Mk48 machine gun. Here the sketch and the final ink.

I experimented with a fat ink line around the hole figure. Do have an interessting effect, its like the figure pops out the image. The hand holding the revolver which crosses the boundary increases this effect :) Hope you like it.

Wollte meine Figure schon immer mal mit einer Minigun ausrüsten, hab bis jetzt einfach nicht die passende gefunden. Die Minigun aus Team Fortress 2 hat ein Munitionsmagazin an der Minigun selbst. Cool.

Neue Erkenntnisse

Inkscape hat da ein cooles Feature und zwar unter "Path > Trace Bitmap" oder in der deutschen Version unter "Pfad > Bitmap vektorisieren ...". Damit kann ich meine gezeichneten Zeichnungen nachträglich verktorsieren, die Dynamik der Striche bleibt so erhalten. Auch gibt es weniger Arbeitsschritte bis zur fertigen Zeichnung.

Follgender Workflow strebe ich an - wobei mir dazu noch ein Zeichentablet fehlt:
- Mit Gimp den Sketch zeichnen
- Mit Inkscape vektorisiert einfärben
- Mit Gimp das ganze aufbreiten und finalisieren

Jetzt muss ich mir zur Weihnachten nur noch ein Zeichentablet schenken ;)

Ok hab's geschafft, die beiden Kerle im Schnee mit Inkscape nach zu zeichnen. Ging schon einiges schneller. Ist ja auch ziemlich schwarz. Leider ging dabei die Dynamic der Striche etwas verloren. Na ja ich kann es ja jederzeit noch nachbessern. Viel Spass damit...
